Translation of Inscription:
Cornelius Visscher of Gouda
Visscher, famous for images of the Hanoverian and the [Prince] of Orange, is not to be counted among the least. Since painters from everywhere seek your1 image of the prince, you are great by the great [Prince of] Orange.
Orenstein 1996, Baudous no. 42

Footnotes:
- This for “vestrum”, which indicates a plural “you”. Unless more than one person is responsible for the image, this usage is bad Latin.
