Fashion Illustrator

Drawing on Instagram Stories, and apps including, Procreate raises the question what is a drawing – a mark or the indication of a mark? How do new mediums impact my work, and in turn, how fashion is shown in different drawing mediums? I will create drawings on my iPad, firstly drawing from images of Schiaparelli, to explore the ways modern fashion was represented in the 1930s, and how it can be re-presented now, then alternate these images with drawings of fashion now, to juxtapose fashion from two eras and observed from images, and from life.
