ResFest, the Courtauld Institute’s annual festival celebrating art historical research, was held at Ulster Museum as part of the partnership on 25th October 2018. 743 members of the public attended the event which consisted of 26 speakers giving ‘quick fire’ talks over 4 locations in the museum. Speakers included curators, artists and art historians speaking on their research and practices. There were also art gallery activities and tours, a drawing event called ‘Real Sketchy’ and the whole museum was open for visitors to experiences ‘the museums at night’. The evening ended with four poetry interventions from local poets reacting to the collection and the Modigliani loan.
