Modigliani’s Female Nude, 1916 was displayed at Ulster Museum from 8 June – 21 October 2018. The Modigliani painting was centre stage with other works from National Museum NI’s collections which explore the relationship between artist and sitter. The exhibition also contributed to National Museum NI’s year-long thematic programme Hear Her Voice which aimed to highlight women in its collections through a series of exhibitions and events across the museums.
