This online resource is designed for students aged between 14-18 who wish to engage with the Re-working Manet project and discover more about \u00c9douard Manet\u2019s famous A Bar at the Folies-Berg\u00e8re (1882) painting.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">This resource has developed out of a collaborative project involving a group of young art historians and artist Jeremy Deller. Responding to \u00c9douard Manet\u2019s <em>A Bar at the Folies-Berg\u00e8re<\/em> (1882), the young people and Jeremy worked collectively to produce an artwork for The Courtauld\u2019s Leon Kossoff Learning Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The resource offers a model for trying different approaches to art history and generating creative and contemporary responses to this artwork. The research themes, activities and reflections included here have emerged from the group involved in the Learning Centre project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The site can be navigated using the menu bar above or the images on each page.
