Discovering Art History

Rollers and paper in a printmaking workshop

The National Partners Programme is not only committed to sharing wonderful works of art and the stories behind them with the public but also with the staff and volunteers at all of our partner organisations. The team at Greenfield Valley visited the Courtauld Gallery and Courtauld Institute libraries for a study day in 2018 and they were inspired to learn more. So, we sent one of our team to Wales for a day of exploring why art and art history are relevant, including opportunities to practice different techniques along the way.

Continuing to explore different art forms, in 2020 the team will visit the Artful Line exhibition at the Harris Museum, Art Gallery and Library to learn more about drawing.
